CPA Baker is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK (ACCA UK) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). He holds a Master of Financial Management from Amitty University, India, Bsc. Acc from Oxford Brooks UK, and currently pursuing a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Cyprus. CPA Baker has 15 years of experience in audit, accounting and tax. He has developed in-depth knowledge of the financial services sector coupled with practical know-how on operation, regulatory and compliance. He has also been involved in implementing sound systems, processes, and internal controls in both private entities, SACCOs and NGOs. He has in-depth knowledge of local tax laws and regulations and has provided clients with valuable tax advise and also acts as tax representative for clients and assists in tax cases with URA. He also provides training on auditing and accounting standards and is technically well versed in the interpretation and application of new and revised auditing and accounting standards. CPA Baker serves as a director and Board member on several company boards.
